Designed to teach without asking a child to build a profile.
The core Kid Smart Money experiences are designed to work without a child account, name, email address or personalized financial information.
Browser-local progress
When a visitor marks activities complete, the site can store simple completion information in the browser’s local storage. That progress stays on that browser unless the browser or device clears it. It is not a child profile and it can be reset from the Explore page.
Information we do not ask children to provide
- No child account is required for the current stories, games or missions.
- We do not ask children to enter their name, email address, home address or financial account information to use the current core experiences.
- Current games do not require children to upload photos, messages or social posts.
Technical website data
Like most websites, hosting and delivery providers may process technical request information needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps and security-related data. The site may also load technical resources such as web fonts.
Analytics
Kid Smart Money does not require paid analytics to operate. If basic site analytics are enabled, they should be used to understand aggregate usage such as page visits, story starts or game completions—not to create child advertising profiles. This notice should be updated if the data practices materially change.
Advertising and personalized financial recommendations
The current site is not designed around personalized advertising to children and does not provide personalized investment or financial recommendations.
Changes
This notice may change as Kid Smart Money adds or removes features. New features that collect personal information should be evaluated before launch and reflected here.
